  • [Other] Lack of advertising for BVS

Does anyone else think it's not very fair? Buena Vista Street is a very beautiful place, and it seems like it's not getting the attention it deserves. The only add I saw was in an airplane magazine, but Cars land was on the front cover. I understand that cars land is more newsworthy, but I think bvs should get the same amount of attention. Does anyone agree? Disagree?

The only advertisement (I wouldn't even call it that) for Buena Vista Street that I've seen so far are the videos about its construction, features, and opening posted by the Disney Parks channel on YouTube. That's it. The videos are great but it'd be cool to see some kind of billboard or commercial for it. Heck, I don't even remember seeing it in the Buzz Lightyear commercial showing off mostly Cars Land and Paradise Pier.

The general public doesn't care about shopping/dining areas. The rides bring in crowds. Since the Cars franchise is so well known to children, naturally they are going to push Carsland more than anything.

I mean if there was a new ride then sure....but really all it is...is a great new little land lets be honest that's not what brings the crowds it...it's what helps keeps them staying longer

I don't think you need much advertisement since no matter what when you enter the gates BVS is the first land you're in.

It's stores. You don't advertise "hey here's more places where we are going to take your money!".

I still hate that they didn't do more with BVS. Even a main street type cinema or something that you can actually WALK into and not spend money.

Agreed. The only thing they'd might want to really push are the new entertainment options available at BVS, but those don't help or hurt the bottom dollar once you're already in the park, so they can get away without the extra advertisement.
