  • No More Chevron Cars

The contract with Chevron for the Free Car Give Away at the Autopia ended Saturday night/Sunday morning at midnight. So the cards aren't being given away anymore.

      Aww...*sniff* bye bye cards! :crybye:

Did any of you ever win that random-card thing? I did once...I gave the car to my little cousin. He loved it

Hmm, I wonder if Matt will now look into updating Autopia?

This is going to sound stupid but i never knew about this promotion. Is Chevron still sponsoring the ride because hybrid cars would be nice. I think a rethemeing would be in order if the sponsorship ends because the ride at the end is like a typical la area freeway and not futuristic. As fun as crashing into the car in front of you is, maybe some sensors(something that could appear in cars in the future) could be added that automatically stopped the car if you got to close and a car of the future would be nice. They could say that the car has sensors that prevent bumping into the car in front of you and a bunch of other features(that i haven't thought of yet) that the car of the future could have.

yes but that would lead to another refurb. Which we all know would take many months. But if they did it pretty quick maybe after the celebration they could do it probably.

They could start fabricatring the cars now and maybe some of the futuristic scenery) , It may just help that fictional rehab go a lot faster

So, no drivers lisences or just no winning lisences?
                        Good morning, son
                        In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
                        It was pain
                        Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I got one once, and traded driver's liscences with my little sister so that she could win.

Unfortunatly that would hardly a car of the future.
