[Rumor] Kids of the Kingdom

I'm reading/hearing more and more about the Fantasyland Theatre at Disneyland getting a new character stage show in 2013 featuring "the fab five". Could this mean Disney will (finally) bring back a show that's packed full of entertaining elements, including classic dancing/singing from the "kids of the kingdom" era days??? My hands are clasped together in desperate prayer! =)

I CERTAINLY HOPE SO x)) However the Fab Five could mean Mickey,Minnie,Goofy,Donald and Pluto but I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I've always wanted to be a Kid of the Kingdom.

From the official Disney Parks Blog:

"We have some exciting news to share today! The Creative Entertainment team is hard at work on a spectacular live entertainment experience for the Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland park. This amazing new show is set to debut in summer 2013. In order to get everything ready, Princess Fantasy Faire will be closing August 12."

Please God, let this spectacular new live stage show be worthy enough to be called just that, SPECTACULAR! And while you're at it, bring back the "traditional classic" of all the dancing and singing Disneyland stage shows used to have! That's right, I'm talkin' about "old school" and those Kids of the Kingdom days! =)

If the new DCA offerings (most of which I love... Well except for Dancing with Disney and DJ ) are any indicator of what DLR entertainment can pull off, then it should be pretty good. Let's just hope that hip and edgy can finally die! Stick to what you're good at, classic emotional nostalgic entertainment. If we get something like the "show" they put on in front of the castle in WDW, I'm gonna be slightly peeved, but I doubt Disney will use a full theatrical show for something like that.

^I agree...and I know people hate it when you play it safe...but I'd rather see a Tangled Musical I know that will be good no matter what...an Original show can go wrong sooo easy...from the music to the dialogue and the story

^^Yes please! Fab Five have enough new offerings (MFG, RCNB, ICJAW, MFW, SSS, and GSS to name a few). Let Tangled have a chance to prove itself.

It would be nice to see something like the Kids of the Kingdom come back. I don't remember if I ever saw them, but it's funny that DL, WDW, and TDL all had the same song. Disneyland is Your Land, Disney World is Your World, and Tokyo Disneyland is Your Land.
