Any word if the Billy's will return to the Golden Horseshoe?
Seems sad that the Golden Horseshoe is now being used just for character meets and not for a true song and dance type show.

I agree Billy's belong in the Golden Horseshoe! I surely hope they do so! Or maybe they can recreate a new revue show (simular to the original).

I think The Laughing Stock Co. is there daily. I don't know if there are meet and greets there also. I like having The Laughing Stock Co. at the Golden Horseshoe on a regular basis instead of just when the Hillbillies have a day off.

They don't show up on the schedule after August 31.
That's the end of a tradition for our family.. So sad.

My guess is BRJ will be cut/ closed at the end of August due to lack of interest and need (it was only opened because they thought Disneyland would be slammed). The Billy's will then hopefully return to the Golden Horseshoe.

The Billie's will be back in the Horseshoe after summer ends according to lead Billy, Kirk Wall.

I hope they don't. The hillbillies need to be outside where they're more thematically appropriate, and a revue-style saloon show needs to return to the Golden Horseshoe. The space is so under utilized at the moment. I think the perfect balance for GH would be to have Laughing Stock Co. performing during the day and then the new revue-show play in the evening/night hours.

Don't get me wrong- I love the Billys but they just don't belong inside the Golden Horseshoe Saloon.

I agree with this 100%! However, will Disney bring back the golden horseshoe revue? Not likely. I like the Billy's in the horseshoe because it is a more intimate setting. If they had them at a smaller location like somewhere by Rancho De Zocala, it would be ideal, but I'd rather have them in the horseshoe than BTRJ where they seem like they have to beg people to come watch them.

I hope they come back to the Horseshoe. I love their show and I love having a break from the heat in a nice air-conditioned building!

I ignored this building for YEARS before I finally went inside and saw the show a couple years ago... I really liked it (more than the rest of my family, LOL), and am really hoping they keep it for the long-term future

They seem to like it outside from what I've heard them say. There's more room for them. And as a musician myself, I prefer to be on a stage where it's nice and open with room to move around and breathe more easily. I'd love to see the GHR brought back to the Horseshoe, but in another form. I don't want to see an exact retread of what Disney has already done. As long as it's good, quality show that has the feel of the original I'd be totally down with it.

I'm sure this has been discussed, but when will Billy Hill and Hillbillies move back into the Golden Horseshoe? For that matter why did they move out in the first place?

There's another thread going on right now about this but from what I can see, he only shows up on the schedule through Aug. 31. He does not show up at any location after that. I'm bummed.

One of the great things about the show is the intimate setting that the GH provides.

As for the schedule on the website - they usually don't post times for the billy's or the laughing stock shows until closer to the actual calendar date.

Don't the increased food and beverage sales say anything about them being in the GH as well? Each time we see them, we always get food there!
