Radiator Springs Racers - Paint Shop Scene Question

Is something supposed to hhappen to your car in the paint shop or do you just get misted? I could not tell if my car changed colors or got pin strips. I know you get white wall tires in Luigis, but does anything happen in Ramones?

If you notice the spray it's the color of your car as its paint gets touched up. The room doesn't change color but the light on the "paint" does reflect off the room's interior.

You get misted after having to wait in the heat for so long outside. A bit off topic but does anyone else feel this showroom is "incomplete" or rather modest compared to Luigi's?
