There is supposed to be an event at the Disney Gallery on Aug. 18th, with some of the people who put the book together, among others. I don't know if it's already available, but certainly will be by that time.

No problem. From what I've heard, it has sold out on both coasts. I'm not too surprised by that. Even at the $40 price that it goes for in the parks, it's worth it. I have my (second) copy on preorder from Amazon for storage. Don't want a "Nickel Tour" situation where I have to spend several hundreds of dollars on a backup later!

can someone comment on how many pages is dedicated to Disneyland? I don't have much interest in any of the other parks. Thx.

Yes, the OP commented on its availability in September but was looking for info about it in the meantime to which Tom responded with an excellent review

That's almost an impossible question to answer. Many pages are devoted to the technical process of the posters' creation (do those count?) and many pages compare Disneyland to WDW versions to show minor differences, etc. There are also a lot of pages that have concept art for attractions without parks specified. The book is organized by MK-style park lands, with 2 chapters at the end devoted to DCA and DisneySea, respectively.
