[Question] Best way to get on Radiator Spring Racers?

I will be staying at the resort this week and I would like to know the easiest way to get on Radiator Spring Racers. I will be staying at the Disneyland Hotel and will be entering the parks before regular hours so should I go straight to the ride or wait till the fastpass line opens up? Also if I wanted to go on at night are the lines insanely long? Does that include the single rider line? Or if I wanted to go on at night should I just get a fastpass when the park opens? I just got lots of questions lol. I only go to Disneyland once a year.

All of the above! Get there early if you want a fastpass. Get in line right when it opens, or go for single rider. Best yet, do all of the above so you can ride it more then once!

Did I interpret that correctly?

During early entry RSR is open for guest to ride but the Fastpass for RSR is not so people line up at the machine waiting for it to activate?

Yes, people start lining up for FastPasses during Early Entry. Even though they do not start distributing Fastpasses until the park opens (8am), people start lining up way before that.

I followed someone's strategy in another thread for getting on RSR quicker during Early Entry. Stay all the way to the far right when the CM's are walking you into CarsLand. The ride entrance is on the right so they will start funneling the crowd from that side. I was the 8th person on the ride the morning I went.

i found it funny that people would go right for the eline during early entry when you can get on RSR pretty easy then

Had the same question as I'm going next week with early entry.

Think I'm going to hit Luigi's first then RSR. Fastpasses I don't mind filling up a bit due to myself wanting to wait for a night time fastpass anyways.

When fastpasses "run out," do they stop letting people in the line to get fastpasses at that point or do they turn away all the people who are still waiting in line to get a fastpass?

If you are visiting with a small group with no small kids, then I would recommend riding once during early entry and then using the single rider line after that and don't worry about the fastpass line. I rode twice last week in the afternoon using single rider - the main cue was 130 minutes but though no time was posted single rider took about 30 mintues both times.

Thanks for you post guys. I will be going to the parks just with my mom and brother for 4 nights so we are indeed a small group. Another question I have is if we wanted to get to Cars Land as fast as possible would it be faster to go through the park's main gate or the hotel guest gate by the GCH? I ask this because I am curious about how bad the crowds are. Oh and how long do you think the wait time's for luigi's are early in the morning? I wanna make sure I get on that right after RSR.

I'm not sure when the opened up the single rider line, my wife and I had a row to ourselves so the middle seat was empty. But I'm assuming it opens up around the same time they open the ride.

I was at DCA last Saturday between 7 and 11 pm. I went on RSR twice in the single rider line, the Little Mermaid once, Soarin as a single rider and Toy Story once. I didn't rush between rides and even looked around a few stores during the 4 hours. I don't think you'll have any problems.
