Since we wait in line roughly 75-80% of the time at the parks, what is your favorite pass-time, the kids, they video games but they run out of charge before long.

Sing in line! And then when you/we get stuck on the lyrics, change songs! (ETA: Not sure why there are people who are so adverse to people singing at the park...)
And then when we realize we unintentionally sound bad, we turn into a pity party. Then rebound back into joking and laughter and talking.

I find this especially disturbing when I see kids doing this.
I'm not a parent, but I agree. Once I went with my cousin and smacked him when he pulled out his iPod to listen to music. I just paid for you to get into Disneyland, one of the greatest places in the world that people travel from all over to experience. You do not need to listen to music.

Since half my trips are solo I tend to strike up conversations with the people in line around me. I'm an introvert type by nature but socializing is fun.

My 16 year old cousin does not have a social disorder, which is why he got smacked.

I actually meant to quote the part you had been replying to.
