[Question] If Tron 3 comes out will/should ElecTRONica return to DCA?

My Question is If Tron 3 comes out will/should ElecTRONica return to DCA? I know some people liked having it in Hollywood land I for one enjoyed it. But with the relaunch of much of DCA does this kind of themed show belong in Hollywood land or should they move it to Tomorrow land. Let me know your thoughts...

I enjoyed it, but haven't compared it to Mad-T Party. It should stay in DCA because those Glo Tinis were increadible.

electronica vs. mad tea party

My family enjoyed electronica while it was @ DCA and we also enjoyed the mad tea party both were fun... i think electronica would be a great addition to update tomorrowland it fits the theme. Mad tea party is a little late since Alice and wonderland is no longer a big movie but still fun. I hope they keep changing the theme for dance parties!

I don't mind the constant changes, but I don't want them to go back to ElecTRONica. It wasn't really my scene and it just felt so dark and dull, honestly. It feels more energetic with a live band and the decorations are far less atrocious in the day (for my taste). I will say that I miss the big name dance crews ElecTRONica featured.

I'm pretty much assuming that it will be back with the launch of TRON 3 but not in the exactly the same form we remember. There should (hopefully) be a few changes. By that time the Mad T Party will have been around for a couple of years and the time will be right to switch it out.

Umm how about Mad T Party dies next may and they finally put some effort into fixing Hollywoodland instead of just picking lipstick on a pig and throwing random themes at it in an attempt to make it actually appealing... Of all the new additions the park has got, the dance parties are the stupidest... You spend $1 billion on the park to try to get rid of the cheap "hip and groovy" aspects the park had when it opened, then you add a cheap dance/ booze party into the worse themed area of the park? Makes no sense to me... Why not add something of interest to the land apart from ToT and the dated Alladin show? Monsters is a knee jerk reaction to how crappy the park was, muppets (although I love it) is not a huge draw for the area, and the cheap facades make the area feel less inviting. How about you fix the problem Disney instead of "enhance" it with these booze parties? I loved TRON, and I miss ElecTRONica, but the whole idea of booze parties is unnecessary (unless they find a way to make it theme appropriate and less invasive).

I would hope it would come back in an updated form. Moving it to Tomorrowland would not work because alcohol is served.

I liked Glow Fest and loved ElecTRONica, but the nighttime parties are starting to get old for me. While some of the elements of Mad-T-Party are quite creative, in general it kind of looks like an excuse to continue the parties rather than a celebration of a timely theme, and with the latest improvements to the park, they would be better off working on long-term fixes for HWL rather than bringing back ElecTRONica.

That being said, since with the current state of TL, the old "City of Tomorrow" vibe isn't working, so it would be great if they were able to put the lights, projections, and effects in TL in a way that the land would be transformed into a Tron theme at night (as opposed to just having the equipment out there all day like in DCA).

If Tron 3 is released... I'm not sure how I will feel. As long as the movie is good...

As for elcTRONica returning to the park, who knows? I don't think it would be terrible as I enjoyed my time there. It was great fun to play the games, have a drink and dance with friends. I could see it getting stale for people that go to DCA all the time, but for those of us that only make it to the park a few times a year... it's a lot of fun!

Having the evening parties gives DCA the chance to break up the large amounts of people in attendance. Some can be at WOC, some on all the rides and the rest at the parties; looks great from a logistics stand point!

Personally, I think it would be great to have a evening party that reflects old Hollywood and the music of the era, but it might not be a big enough pull for some of the guests.

I really liked ElecTRONica, a little more than the Mad T Party, but Tron's kind of been there, done that. I hope they come up with even more creative ideas for the next party.

Of course it wouldn't. You're not the one raking in the bucks from all those over-priced drinks. If the money goes away - so does the dance/booze party.

I would love to see elecTRONica come back. By far one of the coolest things I have ever experienced at Disney. I'm happy I was able to participate before they discontinued it.

ElecTRONica was the best thing that ever happened to that section of square footage of DCA. i see that there's some here who posted they didn't care for it but regardless, it's still been the biggest and most popular thing to happen to that chunk of asphalt. I loved it. I have gone JUST to go there. I have friends who went there just to see the Flynn's Arcade and play Space Paranoids.

Barring a larger Tron experience in Tomorrowland or elsewhere, I certainly hope elecTRONica returns. Considering the success of Tron: Uprising on television, and the possibility of a sequel, I'm honestly surprised they got rid of it in the first place.

And, honestly, as well as being a Tron fan, I'm a HUGE fan of Burton's Alice film, but the Mad T party is an embarrassment. A thematic trainwreck. There seemed to be a unity of concept with elecTRONica that is entirely absent now. A real shame.

elecTRONica was awesome. I am real sad that they got rid of it.

From what I have heard about Mad T Party I think I am going to skip it. I love Tim Burton but his version of Alice in Wonderland was terrible.

i enjoy mad tea party alot more once i gave it a chance. yeah its not themed to 20 and 30's but it takes up a little part of the park. i guess it sucks if you dont like it and your trying to get to muppets and monsters inc. haha. but for disney its all about the money

I don't think the themed parties are really needed anymore. They were started while DCA's expansion project was still in full construction mode. And it gave guests something to do while waiting for World of Color. But now that the walls are down, guests have Buena Vista Street and Cars Land to keep them occupied. What Hollywoodland really needs is a new E-Ticket attraction and a face lift.
