[Question] Hours for Main Street Vehicles?

Is there a set schedule for the various main street vehicles?

Do they run during early entry? At park opening? How late into the evening?

I don't know the exact schedule, but for a general idea they start about an hour after opening and stop before the first parade (i think about an hour before) and they take a break in the middle of the day when the marching band performs on Main Street. The schedule will vary depending on park hours and the entertainment schedule.

I don't know about early entry, but they run throughout the morning until about noon. Then the park is to crowded for them to operate. I'm sure someone else will have a more detailed answer.

I don't have an answer, but my God, that must be the most nerve-wracking job in the universe, driving down Main Street, trying not to hit all those people who aren't looking where they're going, the strollers, little kids, everything!

I was actually pondering this question as well, since in a few weeks I will be bringing my cousins to Disneyland, I want them to experience one of the vehicles. This is what TouringPlans.com has to say:

"Will save you a walk to the central hub. Resist the temptation in the early morning, and try to visit in the late morning or early afternoon, if it's up your alley. The vehicles typically stop running for the day by about 2 or 3 p.m."

From my personal experience,if you want to guarantee a ride on a vehicle, be there early. I usually arrive at the park around 10AM, and still see them running strong around lunch time.

Well it would be easier if guests walked on the sidewalk and the the street

I try to wallk on the sidewalk but alot of these people are so slow I had to walk in the street. Usely when I do hear or see the vehicles I do walk off the street.

I'm in favor of putting cattle guards on the front of the cars like trains.
