If you've ever visited Disneyland or California Adventure on the opening day of an attraction, feel free to write the name, wait time of the attraction, and whether you rode it or not. Here's my current list:

The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure; 1 hour wait; Got on
Star Tours: The Adventure Continues; 1 hour and 40 minute wait; Didn't get on

Splash Mountain - Approximately 2.5 hour wait - Got on

Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage - Didn't get on, but apparently the waits were up to 4 or 5 hours.

soft opening of indiana. was in line till 2am from break downs. got on.. eventually.
fantasmic opening day with media - 6 hours holding seat
toontown opening ceremony - the busiest day it will ever be.

Wow! Many of you are extremely patient. The longest I've waited is 2 1/2 hours for Radiator Springs Racers, and it wasn't opening day.

I was able to get on Thunder Mountain many times during the employee preview times, especially after the night shift.

I was thinking the same exact thing. I do enjoy the ride (call me crazy) but not that much

I had an AP at the time so I went in the morning and left after I got off, so I wasn't disappointed that I spent my whole morning in line. I wasn't a big Disney fan until just after my AP expired (don't realize how much you love something until it's gone ) so I didn't realize how much worse the Nemo subs were compared to the old ones (I didn't/can't remember ever going on the original). I thought the ride had cool special effects but didn't think it was worth waiting long for. I'm not exactly sure why I wanted to wait so long for it in the first place lol.

The Little Mermaid: 1 hour wait on pre-press day AP entry.
Star Tours: Twice - one was a soft opening two days before the press opening; 15 minute wait. Second was with the special online ticket lottery the day before; 30 minute wait.
