How awesome would it be for them to use their amazing new animatronics in Tomorrowland? This is seriously futuristic stuff. I think Walt would be proud. What do you think the first attraction that has these in them will be?!

But how many attractions use actual human faces? The Pirates are all exaggerated (except for Johnny Depp and Barbossa), Mansion is exaggerated, Small World are all inhuman children, Splash is animals, etc. The only application I can think of for this technology currently is The Hall of Presidents at Walt Disney World, and then can only be used for the living presidents (because you can't scan the dead ones).

I can totally see this technology being used for an Avengers attraction that supposedly is in the works. Or even the upcoming Avatar in Animal Kingdom.

That's a great iteration in the devlopment of AAs. I doubt it's for Shanghai, they are just coming down the pipeline together.

Incredible. Thanks for sharing. AAs have always fascinated me and been one of my favorite parts of Disneyland. I was considering studying robotics in college, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem like that's a possibility due to its demanding nature and my current proposed major's equally demanding course load. :P

That was my first thought - I'd love to see them replace the current Obama face, which I was less than impressed with.
