[Question] Secret of Wings @ Pixie Hollow

Was wondering if anyone know when they would be changing over Pixie Hollow for the new moive- Secret of Wings. I comes to the El Capitan Theatre August 31 and to dvd Oct 23?

No word yet, but hopefully before the DVD release. Or, they could just leave it as is and add a new Fairy.

Frost Fairy Periwinkle from Disney’s ‘Secret of the Wings’ Will Soon Join Tinker Bell at Disney Parks

In the newest Disney Fairies movie “Secret of the Wings,” coming to Blu-ray and DVD October 23, Tinker Bell journeys into the mysterious world of the Winter Woods, where curiosity and adventure lead her to an amazing discovery and reveal a magical secret that could change her world forever. In the Winter Woods, Tinker Bell meets Periwinkle, a frost fairy who turns out to be Tink’s sister, born of the same baby’s laugh.

Soon, you’ll be able to meet Periwinkle, too, as we bring a bit of the Winter Woods to Tinker Bell’s Magical Nook at Magic Kingdom Park and Pixie Hollow at Disneyland park. These areas will receive a sparkling layer of snow and ice, creating the perfect environment to greet Periwinkle and make her feel at home. Even Tinker Bell will be dressed for the occasion, wearing her warm, wintry ensemble from the film.
Look for Periwinkle to join her sister at Disneyland and Magic Kingdom parks, beginning in mid-September.

On a side note, in that picture that's one of my absolute most favorite Tinkerbells (err yeah there's only one Tinkerbell I know I know...) The other is in my current avatar.

I feel bad that they're making them go to the "winter overlay" by October. It's still pretty warm here in SoCal in October!

I heard rumors that Periwinkle will be at Pixie Hollow tomorrow (Friday). Can anyone confirm or deny this rumor?

I don't know when Periwinkle will arrive, but the stage has been set including a Periwinkle bronze statue in the front of Pixie Hollow. See the project tracker for pictures.

I had figure that was a Tink that I have seen before and I think is also a friend to me.

Periwinkle was at Pixie Hollow today.
She was at the secound station, rather than next to Tinkerbell.
(Note: She was taller and tanner than Tinkerbell.)

Are they going to redo Pixie Hollow as a winter wonderland like they did a couple years ago for fall? I was under the impression it would change once a year, but it didn't change last year.

When I was there last Tuesday I when into Pixie Hollow they had change the colors to 3 of the flowers 2 of them where right next to the Welcome Fairies sign in the winter blue and the third one was on the other side where Tink is at the same color. So I will say yes Pixie Hollow is going to be changing to the new look if it's not already done today it will be soon.
