  • [Question] Mickey Halloween popcorn buckets 2012

Can we expect them to return this year?

They are grossly over-priced and people still buy 'em... so my guess is 'yes'.

You bet. Popcorn costs pennies. Plastic buckets from China, maybe a buck or two at the most. Disney price? Somewhere around $15.

We spotted a variation of the MM ghost bucket in one of the NOS stores yesterday. It is about 2/3 the size of the original, made of a harder plastic and seemed to be made a bit more sturdy. I think it was $13.

We saw those, too, on Main Street and in NOS. I believe they are battery powered lanterns, not popcorn buckets. They sure are cute!

Those little lanterns are definitely adorable.

A lot of people collect popcorn buckets. I don't, but I have to admit that I liked the HM coffin bucket and the R2D2.

I didn't see it either. I had thought that Disney considered the popcorn bucket (at the cart) a food service item rather than merch? Most of the time they won't let you buy it without the popcorn.
