Re: Now that all the AP's are unblocked...
Personally, I've always downplayed the impact of the opening up of the park to previously blacked out AP holders. It's a net zero effect I imagine as the reason the park is being opened up is because it is expected to be slower during those days.
My approach to whether or not to go to the park relative to crowd levels has always been...don't go because you think it will or will not be busy. Go because you love Disneyland. There is enough joy for everyone so long as you keep fun as your primary goal.

Haven't been yet, but my experience with AP opening days in the past is that it's really after work (after 5:00ish) that the crush starts. The morning and afternoons are generally fine. I'm planning on going on Wednesday, so I'll let you know.

Re: Now that all the AP's are unblocked...
Went today and it seemed a little more crowded than I was used to over the last few weeks (premium pass holder) . Was a little disappointed wait times were up, most rides over the last few weeks in dca were 15 to 20 min holds (Screamin, Tower of Terror, Soaring). Most were at 30 to 35 mins today. I was there on Sat, and today (Monday) was allot more busy. Disney even switched Disneland back to Midnight for closing, was 11AM for the last week or so.
Still had a great day in the Park.Check Out my Instagram - http://instagram.com/bradinsocal

I steered clear.

I usually check the wait time apps and see what they are, then I figure out if I want to go.

I went early August and it was a little bit better then than when I went yesterday but considering the summer crowds are leaving for school it will get considerably better very soon, especially during off season and with all the refurbs going on soon.

I haven't been there and am not going this week, but have been peeking at wait time apps.
I've noticed that Carsland is about 25% busier than it was last week, and in the evening from 6 to 9 about 50% busier. Once past 9 it seem to slow down quickly. It looks like a lot of APs are coming in to check out Carsland and then go home right after. In a sense it's kind of like the opening week where crowds were crazy in CL but fine everywhere else, but now not with the same magnitude just the same focus.Be Cool Stay in School!
Next year I'm trying for a summer internship at Stark Industries.

Monday morning was really light, walk ons to most rides. But in the evening, I thought it got pretty crowded vs Sunday. 7pm RSR fp line was 40min where Sunday it was all no line until the merge. And there was defenitly a lot less space to walk around. Defenitly not christmas crazy but way more people than the weekend

Wednesday was pretty calm. Lines hovered around 15-25 minutes for E-tickets in both parks until around noon, where they hit the 40s for Space and Indy. Screamin', Big Thunder, HM stayed around 15 throughout the day as far as I saw. Many of the Fantasyland attractions were about 5-10 minutes, save for Peter Pan. Cars Land got higher waits, as usual, but foot traffic was not that bad in the morning and evening.
