  • [Question] Radiator Springs Racers - Big and Tall

So we are heading out to DLR at the end of September and my son is downright giddy to ride on Radiator Springs Racers with me.

Problem is, I'm a big and tall guy. 6'5" and ~350lbs.

Anyone who's been see any possibility that I may actually fit in these cars? I can't really judge based on the pictures I've seen.

    Thanks!

I'm 6'4" and I fit just fine, I don't think you have to worry.

you will fit just fine, there is a lot of leg room. and you can take the middle seat of either row and you will be fine width wise. have fun!

Hey, I'm 6'6" and I'll be there with my son at the end of September, too. I'll watch for ya! We shouldn't be too hard to miss. To be honest, I'm more worried about the new Matterhorn seats. From the looks of it, there isn't much leg room.

The back row has more legroom than the front due to the wheel wells in front.

Hey Reeder - I seen in another post that you are going Sep 25-28th? We'll be there Sep 24th-28th.. May just bump into each other

I was just commenting on how this is my 4th trip to DLR and the 4th time I'll miss Fantasmic! This time it's due to the Halloween Party. We're going to that, which should be fun!!! But I was really hoping to catch Fantasmic this time!

Ok! Thanks again for the input. Looks like Middle seat in the back it is! Looking at the wait times, 110 minutes??? Omg! Popular much? Hopefully it'll die down. TouringPlans.com show a crowd level of 2/10 during the week I'm going. Here's hoping the prediction doesn't change

So you have never watched Fantasmic? You have to watch it! I promise you won't regret it. There's a 9:00pm show and I don't remember if the second one is at 10:15pm or 10:30pm.

Do yourself a favor and squeeze it into your visit.

Make sure the first thing you do is get a fast pass for the ride. And I say first thing because they run out quick for the day.

Right before you get to cars land there will be some orange trees and also fast pass booths to your left wich are waaaay closer than when you get to the ride and the other fast pass booths for the ride.

I barely rode this ride this past Sunday and I have a premium pass and I am about 15 minutes from DLR. Finally I was able to get me a fastpass .

As much as I loved the ride, no way I am waiting 2-3 hours in line. 110 minutes is good comparing it to most times for the ride.

Enjoy the ride and your visit!

                  I'm only 6'4" 225lbs, I had no problem.

The only problem that you will have is trying to get a fast pass.

Well, i've seen the first 5 minutes on my very first trip! I was 8 years old and my mother wanted to do something else. My second and third trips were all during the off season in the middle of the week...

For this trip, I planned to stay from Monday, September 24th thru Friday, September 28th just to catch Fantasmic that Friday night!! However, BAM! Mickey's Halloween Party! No Fantasmic that night!! DOH!

We arrive Sunday night around 7pm... I may just buy us all a one day pass (5 people, OUCH! ) and get in an hour or two of fun before catching the last Fantasmic that night! Opening the trip with Fantasmic sounds like a grand idea!

Oh and that's a big 10-4 on the FASTPASS for RSR. We'll have to be vigilant.

And now I just seen that Indiana Jones will be down for refurb during our visit!:verymad::bang:
