  • [Question] Thursday Night Football Bar

Anyone have any good suggestions on a good bar in the Disneyland area to go and watch the game on a Thursday night. Does ESPN Zone have a good bar or big screen, etc..

ESPN Zone is about the best you're going to find in a very short walk. Tons of screens, as well as recliners. How one gets a recliner on a busy night like the NFL Opener is anyone's guess.

There are a few bars/restaurants over at the GardenWalk that should have the game on.
There's a large group in Santa Monica that gathers for every Giants game at O'Brien's. That's a bit of a haul.
Nothing that I can find on the internet in Orange County.

ESPN Zone is the best place, but you'll need to get there early, as it gets pretty busy.

You don't have to worry about lack of tv screens. They're everywhere, even the bathrooms!

I know theres a bar or two in the hotel that also have tv screens.

Even though they don't have TVs, for drinks try Trader Sam's, also in the hotel area.

Surely ESPN zone, it's right there and has plenty of great TVs. I've seen a bunch of games there. When it's a big game, or at least popular for locals you have to order food because it does get very busy. Stuff like playoffs college and pros can draw a lot of people there. When it's crappy teams from the other side of the country it can be moderately busy. When I've gone which in particular is for Monday Night Football, I plan on it being my dinner location too.
