Ever look backwards on a ride?

I like to do this, just to see things work "behind the scenes"

    here are some examples:

Indy Jones - When you enter 1 of the three chambers, look behind you and you'll see the the doors reset for the next ride vehicle.

Haunted Mansion - At the grandfather clock, look behind you and you'll see the hand cutouts projected by a light.

Snow White - At the mirror, look behind you and you'll see the witch reset back to the queen.

    how about u guys?

    Disneyland - 1982 to Present
    Walt Disney World - 1996, 2011
    Tokyo Disney Resort - 2013
    Hong Kong Disneyland - 2013

I do these all the time!
I also look back on the scene where the ball is supposed to chase you. Like right when the jeep "backs up"

as you near the peek on splash mountain, and the ominous music is playing, there is a shadow projection on the left wall. Look back and you can see the light etc.

And while there is no special feature to be seen, I sometimes like to hang back in the hall of paintings at the haunted mansion and wait for the next crowd to come down in the elevator.

I tried looking back once on Big Thunder, many years ago. That's when I learned that looking backward on a roller coaster makes me very motion sick.

Nope. But, my brother did on Indiana Jones at the beginning of the second lift and a magical voice came out of no where to remind him to keep his head facing forwards.

I LOVE doing that! It gives the ride a whole new perspective.

While it's not completely backwards, I immediately thought of "goat trick"!

I always look over shoulder/roughly behind at the very last scene of Pinocchio, to see the physical model of the Blue Fairy (dark, tucked in a unlit room) - she appears via a Pepper's Ghost effect.

I looked backwards on Radiator Springs Racers, and lots of the props in the ride are actually detailed in the back! Other than that I can't remember a ride that I always look backwards on, but I always look to the sides on Soarin and up on Tower of Terror.

But of course! Not necessarily any particular place on any particular ride, but just in general looking around.

On the Litttle Mermaid ride in the "Under the Sea" room, when you see Ariel Dancing, if you looked behind you you would find : Mr. Lymput.
I think he has may have been removed. I could not find him last time...

I used to manage to sit sideways on Space Mountain. Sometimes turning my entire top half backwards in the last seat. Tremendous fun.

I look backwards all the time! Sometimes to see certain things (Max, Buff, and Melvin on Pooh), sometimes to see if I can see the trick behind a special effect (IJA), sometimes to just see what's there.

One of my favorite things to do is look for the footage from security cameras. On POTC, as the boats leave the landing dock, if you turn around and look above you can see a little shack with a bunch of TV screens streaming security footage.

At the crest of one of the hills in Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a goat that bleats at you. The "goat trick" involves staring at the goat as you go down the hill. Because you're taking a sharp turn as you go around the goat and down the hill, looking at a fixed point that is not in front of you sends your stomach for a loop.

Yes, mostly on non-roller coaster attractions.
