[Question] Tram to Downtown Disney?

I'm sorry folks for bombarding you with all my questions. You are all so helpful!

I'm wondering... when leaving the DL park, you go to the right to get to Downtown Disney, correct?

Just how far of a walk is it? Is there a tram to take you there after a long day of walking and lines? Or is it too close to bother?

Downtown Disney is as far from Disneyland as California Adventure is. If you park at the Mickey and Friends parking structure, that's where the tram drops you off. I'd guess it's about a two minute walk from Disneyland's exit (to the right, yes!) to get to the first store in DTD.
