[Chat] We need Goofy's Paint and Play House

    First Look: Goofy

The Disney Blog just posted Pictures from the new interactive Goofy's House....and after seeing a Picture of a LINE yes a line fr this one room attraction....I say it is a must have. Though it is mainly for kids, it takes up no space, add a new attraction for smaller guests but still but fun for Families......and finally use Goofy's house instead of just letting it sit there collecting dusk

Also here's a Video to see the attraction in action

I don't think it's bad, and could work as something great for kids. Stick in Toontown. For older kids and adults it's a weak contestant against TSMM.

I have t agree. Its much more disappointing than I expected. It basically looks like paint splats on the screen and furniture randomly changes. Not nearly as cohesive or well organized as I thought it would be.

I could think of a number of things that would be better than an empty house, but I also wouldn't want to see money wasted on...

Great looking attraction for younger guests. Bring this along with a Epic Mickey ride and Toontown should be on the right path to becoming a better land.

But will it last very long as a stand-alone attraction? It's questionable, I think.

Paint and Play looks like a life-sized model of a Mario Party game.

Yeah, well, consider the fact that Tokyo, too, now has its own Toy Story ride, so what about that?

As for this kind of thing coming to Disneyland, I'm neutral. Anything to help bring in more guests, I suppose.
                    My top favorite Disneyland attractions:

                    1. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
                    2. Pirates of the Caribbean
                    3. Splash Mountain
                    4. Mad Tea Party
                    5. Peter Pan's Flight
                    6. Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin

why do folks want things that are at orlando, we do all realize why these parks are so different from each other right? How else do we get people to visit one or both parks a year

This is very similar to an idea for an Epic Mickey ride I had that used TSMM tech and projections to create an immersive environment. It would be perfect for Toontown, but the likely hood of Disney finding a way to put in a major attraction in Toontown is slim to none. If Hollywoodland ever gets a redo I wouldn't mind seeing a scaled up Epic Mickey ride in Stage 17. As for Goofy's Paint and Play, I feel like the concept isn't bad but the execution is lacking. I don't see the purpose behind this. Maybe if it started out black and white and you got to paint the house it would be cool but from the videos it doesn't look like your paint really interacts correctly.
