  • [Question] Plan of attack for DCA?

My husband and I are going to Disneyland this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. And we're super excited, of course!

We haven't been since Cars Land opened so we're not sure what the best plan of attack for California Adventure is now. On our previous trips we'd try to get there when the park opened and grab fast passes for World of Color and Soarin' Over California before heading up to Toy Story Midway Mania, but now our first priority is getting fast passes for Radiator Springs Racers.

What's best to do first, fast passes for RSR or WoC? After those are out of the way would TSMM's line probably be horrendously long (like it tends to get)? I'm almost inclined to skip WoC if it means getting to ride RSR or TSMM more, since we like rides more than shows anyway.

    Thanks for the help!

RSR is first definitely! Do that and then go get in line for RSR if you want to ride twice. Then do the WOC fast passes. They don't run out like they used to

You can go from the rope drop into Condor Flats. Grab a Soarin FP right away, then WoC FP ride TSMM, and get a CS FP, then into the RSR FP line. Keep and eye on the time and be in the RSR FP lines by about 8:45.

If you want to ride RSR more than once, getting in the Single Rider Line early in the day works well.

Going to RSR first runs a risk that you wait in line an extra 15, 30, 45 minutes, because the opening is often delayed. Sometimes it opens right at the beginning of the Extra Magic Hours, often it doesn't and people wait it out. This can make for a big line even before rope drop.

For WoC they are with the GRR FP kiosks. For RSR at the old ITTBAB FP Kiosks. Signs will direct you to either.

Also you might want to do Luigi's early, that line is so slow moving it shoots up to 45mins + pretty early.
