[Question] Would you purchase these characters at the DLR? (Fab 5 Make-over)

Personally, I don't like it. I hope they don't sell these at the resort in any form. I know it is just for this project, but I shutter to think that these could catch on and become posters, figures, etc.

I think it could be really cool in some trendy restaurant in Hollywoodland, but other than that, I don't see them anywhere else in the park.

Also, I can't see Disney selling a Goofy with a package.

Those look pretty stupid. Cartoon characters shouldn't try to resemble anorexic human models.

I am not a fan. Yes, Goofy and Daisy look pretty decent but I agree, ick. I recently saw this on Facebook http://www.geekologie.com/2012/07/26...hion-small.jpg personally, I think they could go this angle if they were really going to try to "Fashion" up Disney Characters. I LOVED what they did with the "Designer Collection" stuff.

I showed this (via email) to everyone in my party for the next trip. ALL responses were negative. My fave was "whats wrong with donald? they made him look like an annorexic cross dresser" [my dear friend clearly isn't aware of "Daisy"!!! LMBO!!!]

and Forever 21 had a Minnie Muse collection of womens apparel and accessories


So it's not unusual for them to do this to Minnie because they have already sold product like it.

I don't like them. And I showed them to some people who are not as fanatical about disney as I am. They also did not like them.

But I didn't care for the designer collection either. I was actually upset at how the villains looked ...

There is a shirt in World of Disney with the skinny Minnie on it. I thought it looked horrible.

Looks terrible.

If you can't have the characters on model, actually modelling the clothes you sell. Then perhaps as a Creative Director either you shouldn't use those characters, or adapt the cuts to the characters, or simply this is not the right job for you.

That sums it up for me.

I actually don't mind the Minnie Muse and other art detalexip posted. They look like a stylized, slightly stretched Minnie Mouse with long legs. The "fashion" art makes her look like a drug addict with a bun.

The skinny/curvy Minnie Disney officially has on some of the Halloween art scares me a bit though.

The styles cool and all..but too skinny...leave that to Jack Skeleton
