  • [Question] Annual Passport late fee

So my payment for my pass is due today and I wasn't able to make it. Anyone know what happens? Do they freeze it till you pay it? Is there a grace period before they take it out from the bank? How do I tell them the x amount of dollars is in the bank for them to take it now? Help! Btw, first time poster but always read the forums on here.

It should be charge on the same, or closest later business day each month. When they started the payment options I read that if a payment is late it would be frozen or blocked until payment was current again.

They will make another attempt soon. But I would call annual passport services. Call park info and they should find the number for you.

I lost my credit card and forgot to notify Disney of a change of cards and when I showed up at the park my pass was blocked. Since I was in the last month of my contract I simply paid off my pass and there was no late fee.

No late fee, but the pass will not be active. You will need to pay whatever you're behind on and it's unlocked.

Exactly, your pass is disabled until payment is made, no fees, but you don't get back any days you are locked out (of course).

I had this recently, one of my credit cards was possibly compromised and my bank sent a new one... while I was out, so when I got back, I had an email from Disney explaining that my pass is not valid until paid in full and to contact AP services at a toll free number, I called them and within a couple of minutes gave them my new card, and they "reactivated" my AP, and gave me a confirmation number (plus emailed me). No issues, typical "Have a magical day" type phone call.
