  • [Question] Oh-ver-rated! *clap* *clap* "clap-clap-clap*

Simply put, name an attraction you think is way overrated.

    Buzzlightyear.

A cardboard cutout attraction tied into modern shooting gallery technology. Meh.

Soarin over California. Don't understand why this ride is so popular. I would like it more if it went under a nice rehab that cleaned up the screen and updated the ride system to where you couldn't see dangling legs in front of you.

If by overrated you mean the line is not worth the attraction? Then Nemo.
I open a toy, review it and take mediocore pictures. Read all about it HERE!

Nemo Submarines: You wait in line for an hour to be put into a hot, stuffy sardine can to watch television underwater. It's not worth it, imo.

Peter Pan's Flight: Again, a ride where you wait in line for an hour to "fly" around in a ship for under 60-seconds. I'll never ride it again. Not worth the wait.

Soarin' Over California: It's just lame, imo.

Autopia: If I wanted to drive a car I would drive my own.

Anything longer then a 20 minute line. Please refrain from screaming "local". Even when I vacation with my family we make sure to do it in the "off season" so we're not surrounded by crowds.

You should try Grand Canyon in April;1/2 as many people, minimal heat, possible snow on the ground and still as amazing as ever. Sequoia before Memorial Weekend is equally stunning, the only drawback being too cold to camp. Catalina after Labor Day weekend is another example... substantially cheaper and a LOT less crowded. Sure you "chance" having a ride or two being down for refurb and reduced hours/shows, but the tradeoff is a lot less people and less heat!

The former Rainbow Caverns area as an iteresting pace to look at from Tom Sawyer Lair at Barnicle Island is way overrated. Get a new attraction in there doctor, stat!

Tiki Room; I love it dearly, but it gets old. It needs interactive features.

it's a small world. Looks great on the outside, especially at Christmas. On the inside, not so much. The great show building rides like POTC, HM, and IJA you never get the sense you are actually in a building. With iasw, you see the ceiling and the corners and the electrical wiring.... all pretty cheesy.

Swinging gondolas on the Funwheel. Yes they are good for a quick thrill, but in the stationary ones you actually get to take in and enjoy the views of the resort that the wheel offers.

I have yet to see them use cardboard as a building material for any ride.

Fantasmic. It's ok to see once, but I don't see anything compelling about it that demands that I need to watch it again. On top of that, it is far too noisy and loud. Plus, I hate navigating NOS to get to POC and HM when it's being performed. I'm planning my next trip during the off-season so I can enjoy NOS at evening time. I remember it as being rather peaceful and tranquil.

                        It isn't literal.

Yes! I forgot It's a Small World. If that ride didn't exist my heart wouldn't be close to being broken.
