    [Question] AP ticket purchase for MHP???

    Hi there experts... I am planning on upgrading my parkhoppers to AP's when we go in October... and then immediately buying tickets at the discounted AP rate for MHP for the following day. Do you know whether I can buy the discounted MHP tickets for my sister and her family too, or does every discounted ticket need to be USED by an AP?
    I wish I had a cool signature to insert here, but I don't.

    I don't think the tickets have to be used by an AP as long as the AP is with the group but trying to buy a ticket the day before might be a problem. Those tickets sometimes sell out well before the day of the event since they only have a certain number of them for each night, and the AP tickets sell out first usually.

      They just have to be purchased by a pass holder to get the discount, but anyone can use them.

        Thanks guys... I know there's a chance they will be sold out.. but since I am not upgrading to an AP until the day before... well if we don't get to go to MHP I won't be heartbroken. I think I will take the risk of them being sold out. I just can't see spending an additional $54 per person on top of the 3 day park hoppers on top of the AP upgrade!!! Eeek!

          If you have a Disney Visa or a DVC membership, you can get a discount for Halloween Party tickets now, so that you don't have to wait to buy your AP. By the way, each AP can purchase up to 6 party tickets. We did this last year (2 APs and 4 non-APs), and everything was fine.
