I know it's far off in advance but the http://www.chocwalk.net/faf/home/default.asp?ievent=1015992 is in October. Is Micechat going to have a team this year?

[Question] Anyone doing the CHOC walk this year?
When I go to Disneyland, I tune my FRS Radio to channel 2, without a quiet code. They're faster than a cell phone and you can talk to a whole group at a time, and you don't have to get everyone's cell phone number in advance.

CHOC Walk in the Park 2012 - Home
It's a walk through both parks to raise money for the Children's Hospital of Orange County.October 14th, 7am.
I don't know if I am going to do it this year but it's surely a great cause and looks like a lot of fun.Merida looks like this. Not a Barbie doll!

Re: Anyone doing the CHOC walk this year?
You don't need a park ticket to do the walk itself, and you get free parking @ Mickey and Friends. To do the walk, you just need to fundraise or donate a minimum of $50. You get a wristband and AFAIK you get into the parks before they open for the day.
If you want to spend the day in the park after the race, yes, you do need a ticket, as far as I know...but CHOC Walk offers some sort of $45 discounted ticket if you're walking.Merida looks like this. Not a Barbie doll!

I might try it again. Wondering if I have enough energy to get up at 3 AM again in order to make it down there in time. I had a GREAT time last year, and it's for a wonderful cause! To view more of my photos, please visit: William McIntosh PhotographyMac Daddy's Autumn, 2011 Photo Thread

My niece spent a lot of time at CHOC when she was little. I'll do what I can to be there.http://micechat.com/forums/disneylan...oto-heavy.html

Re: Anyone doing the CHOC walk this year?
Sorry to bump this from last week, but I will be walking for the first time this year and wondered who else would be there... I joined the annual passholder's team 2012 CHOC Walk in the Park | Passholder News | Disneyland Resort
I must be honest, I'd never heard of CHOC before this, but it is a great cause and a great excuse to go to DL for the weekend!Signature courtesy of Poisonedapples
