As many times as I've been, I am still in awe each time I visit as to how they could possibly make something so wonderful.
It seems like everything in the park is so clean, so well kept, so organized, so friendly, so happy, so magical...
it's crazy! It must take a lot of hard working and dedicated people to keep it that way, and I must say I am impressed. Some of the things that make my jaw drop:
Seeing Fantasmic or World of Color...wow, just wow. I don't know how they do it. I would love to watch a full length movie about the behind the scenes of these two shows because when I see WOC/F virgins watching the show, I can tell by their faces that they have never seen anything like this before.
Seeing all the Christmas decorations...this is insane! They really do go all out on these, and if you have yet to see the park's Christmas decorations, I highly recommend you do. Everywhere you turn there is not a pole un-wreathed, a light burnt out, or a stocking out of place. It literally looks like you are in some kind of fantasyland (no pun intended I guess).
Seeing the park's cleanliness..I've literally never been anywhere as clean as Disneyland. And the fact that I can say that about a theme park is something to think about. If you haven't noticed this yet because you don't visit often (or you zoom through the park), stop and look around next time. It really is beautiful. There is no trash, anywhere. Don't throw trash on the floor!
And many more things. Disneyland is something unlike any other place. I'd like to thank all the cast members and all the higher up executives at Disneyland for working so hard to make it such a wonderful place. I know some people don't appreciate what they do, and complain endlessly about how it sucks because of a) b) and c), and that's really a shame because if all you do is whine and complain and refuse to go there because they took out your favorite ride or they changed something, you're missing the point of Disneyland entirely. Yes, Disneyland is about nostalgia and feeling like a child again, but that doesn't mean everything is constantly going to remain the same. Heck, if everything had remained the same since opening day, or 40 years ago, or 20, or 10, or even 2 years ago, think how much less fun the park would be. I think it's incredible the changes that Disneyland gets put through, the revamps, the makeovers, the refurbishments, everything. Because in the end, Disneyland never ceases to amaze me and fill my heart with wonder.
I really do appreciate everyone who makes it such a fun place to be. Your hard work is noticed by me, and I'm sure by many others here on micechat and around the world.
Please leave your comments telling how much you appreciate Disneyland and those who strive to make it great.
