  • [Question] Halloween Treats

So Christmas has the coveted candy canes, but does Halloween have any special, highly sought after treats? Is there anything we should definitely try while we are there?

They usually have a seasonal muffin or cupcake. I tried the carmel apple muffin it was really good. They also had a pumpkin one with a ton of cream cheese frosting on it! Also try the little mousse cups. They are in a ceramic mickey pumpkin. Yay Halloween treats!!!!

Yes, you do! Last year they were available at the Plaza Inn, Cafe Orleans, Blue Ribbon Bakery (so probably Jolly Holiday this year), and Thunder Ranch BBQ. Last year's cup was Halloween Donald (Plaza Inn). There were still some Mickey cups left from the year before (Cafe Orleans and Thunder Ranch BBQ). Wondering what this year's cup will be...

I kept hearing that the pumpkin fudge sold at the candy store on Main Street during Halloween was... to die for (insert evil laugh here). I finally tried it a couple of Halloweens ago and it's actually not bad but for me was a little too sugary sweet rich. Keep a glass of water handy if you decide to go for a bite.

Pumpkin fudge is the best! That's going to be on my "to eat" list when I visit Disneyland in 20 days!

This year, Disney has released some Halloween specific candy themed around the Haunted Mansion. There is a Madame Leota lollipop and, I think, some NBC sweets, too.

They do have a few treats like Halloween chocolates...grey candy corn with haunted mansion packaging. A neat looking coffin tin. I am sure we'll see more coming out later this week.
Little and broken, but still good.
