The yogurt place nearby sells it and calls it Dole Whip. Tastes so yummy with some shaved ice on top too ... I'm almost tempted to go get some right now.
When I went to Hawaii this past summer I had Dole Whip at least ten times. The hotel had two coffee shops selling them. YES. And they were nowhere near as expensive as they are at Disneyland.
It will be Dole's loss then...they are not the only ones who sell pineapple or pineapple soft serve ice cream, so Disney will simply find a new sponsor/vender, change the name a bit, and continue on.
I don't know where all the disbelief is coming from. Sponsors have come and gone since the first days of the park. Welch's, Sunkist, Monsanto, Wonder Bread, Bank of America, Goodyear are just a small sample of sponsors that have long since left. And many of these partnerships during their days were so strong that in those days it felt that Disneyland would not be the same without them.
Rumor or not, one day Dole will go away, and people will miss them no more than the other sponsors that helped to make Disneyland such a great place.

I miss the sponsors of imagination, WoL, ect at EPCOT, but I don't really miss any sponsors at Disneyland. Then again, Disneyland did not emphasize the idea of sponsorship to the extent that WDW did/ does.
