  • Hotels across the street from DL

Does anybody know the name of the hotels directly across the street from DL on Harbor? I know there is a Howard Johnsons, but the rest of them escape me. I stayed at one there that was cheap, and the rooms were clean and kept up, but for the life of me, I cannot remember the name! If anybody knows, or has a link to a map that shows them, it would be much appreciated.

    There are...
    The Tropicana
    Best Western Park Place Inn
    Candy Cane
    Howard Johnson
    Ramada Inn Maingate
    Carousel Inn
    Park Inn
    Anaheim Fairfield Inn

These are on Harbor, across from the main gate.

    Here is a map

(do you think the Finding Nemo Subs line will be under 3 hours by then?)

Just do yourself a BIG favor and avoid the Castle Inn like the plague. This advice comes from first hand experience.

      You've been warned!

      Have a great trip!

We have stayed at the Best Western Park Place Inn, and we have been very happy. You walk out of the hotel and the pedestrian crosswalk is right there.

(Just ignore their "free breakfast", it's just awful, stale pastries, cereal, cold bagels milk and coffee.)

The rooms are big and clean, they have a fridge and microwave, and a little outdoor pool and spa. Nothing fancy but great if you can't afford to stay in property.

Howard Johnson is the northern most hotel on the east side of Harbor Blvd. This is across from where the Monorail enters/exits the Park.

with that as a reference, the following list is in order in a south direction- (all on the east side of Harbor Blvd.):

            Howard Johnson
            (Manchester Avenue)
            Anaheim Fairfield
            Anabella
            Carousel
Tropicana (across the street from Resort entrance)
            Best Western Park Place Inn
            Best Western Anaheim Inn
            Ramada Inn Maingate
            (Disney Way)

I also stayed at the ramada inn main gate. top floor way in the way in a corner room. best room I ever stayed at!! it was in the new section, the lat building in the back and it was on the third floor and right directly in the corner. I hear nothng, and believe me there was everything going on there you could imagine. I would try for this room, unless you are going with more then two people as this is a single room. but big!! Did I say it was nice the old section I heard was run down but those in the new section on the top floors are the best!
