  • [Fun] Best Disneyland-Withdrawal Therapy: Ride Audio on Youtube

I was looking for audio tracks to turn into Disneyland-related ringtones and soon found myself captured in Youtube's mighty grasp as I bounced from one "video" to another of actual ride audio tracks.

There are plenty of videos people have taken on Disneyland rides, but I like these better: If you pop in your headphones and close your eyes, the audio tracks will take you right back to the park whenever you want. At least some of these are/were available on CD, and please post links if you know good ways to get those recordings now, but below are links to my favorites.

Oh, and while it's not as easy to get audio from Youtube videos as it used to be, it still can be done (I used Garage Band and a cable linking my headphone jack to the mic input) and you can make MP3 audio files for your iPod from these videos, too. Warning: Do not listen to Space Mountain audio while driving! You will end up accelerating to about a million miles per hour and get a huge speeding ticket.

    Space Mountain (current in-flight audio)

Space Mountain (old surf guitar in-flight audio)

    Space Mountain Queue/Background Music

    Haunted Mansion (full audio, pre-Bride):
    Part 1
    Part 2
    Part 3

Pirates of the Caribbean (full audio, pre-Depp, includes disgusting sweat-bellied pirate spiel):
    Part 1
    Part 2

    Tea Cups (only 59 seconds)

it's a small world (you know you want to listen!)

    Splash Mountain:
    Part 1
    Part 2

Many of these are from MrThemeParkAudios who has a huge collection of recordings from various parks, including background music like Main Street loops, etc.

Disclaimer: I am not an expert so some of these could be from other Disney parks or otherwise not exactly what I noted.

      of a FairyTale
      You can take the future
      even if you fail...

I found a torrent of disneyland ride audio a few months ago, including music loops of areas, and it really puts me in such a good mood. There's nothing like cleaning the house to main street soundtracks to make your chores seem fun.

I like listening to Magic 24/7 and even though a lot of the audio is from WDW or other various Disney parks as well as Disneyland, it's still fun to listen to and imagine what park it's from and which land or attraction.

THANK YOU! This is going to be so great for when I walk to school! Could you see if you can find the audio for Indiana Jones?

This has the music, but not the sound effects or Indy talking to you.

This is a 2-parter with everything, including sounds in the queue:
                  Part 1 (the queue)
Part 2 (the ride, with all the Maya variations one after the other at the beginning)

Here's a fun throwback audio for the long-gone Mine Train Thru Nature's Wonderland, which was replaced by Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in 1978.

Love this. I've got to add the audio for my Disneyland music playlist I use whenever we're driving down.

Along with the ride music I recommend looking up the area music loops. Those can be very therapeutic for the Disneyland withdrawals.

I don't know if this is allowed here because this website has it's own forum as well (albeit not very popular) but I listen to Subsonic Radio ALL THE TIME! Has LOADS of audio from the parks.

Mrthemeparkaudios gets 99% of his recordings from a website devoted to Disneyland audio. His videos are from a community of people that contributr to the website. Many of the recordings are from the extinct Disneyland Forever kiosks that used to be in the park while others are very good induction recordings. Mrthemeparkaudios gets too much credit for thes because he downloads them from a relatively obscure website and uploads them to a very popular one

Fair enough, thanks for letting us know. I remember hearing about those kiosks, but I didn't know if they had actual ride audio or just various songs or background music.

On the other hand, a tip of the hat to MrThemeParksAudio for putting them somewhere I could find them!
