News DLH Room Upgrade

Currently at DLR on our vacation. This is our second trip to DLR in the last two weeks. This time, we are staying at DLH.

A few weeks ago, there was a thread about whether or not you can get a free room upgrade at DLH.

I am happy to report that you can! Today, I just happened to ask if there were any upgrades available, and we were upgraded to a suite for free! :yea:

This has happened once to me and my mom at Disneyland Paris, they upgraded us to a presidential suite.

This happened to me at Paradise Pier back in 2006. I had a non-DCA view room and they upgraded me to a park view. It was fantastic and surprising. I was able to get this great view...(with the old Orange swings, as I called them and MaliBoomer)

I'll have to remember to ask for any on my upcoming trip. Staying at Paradise Pier and already have a park view room, so I think the only other upgrades would be concierge (which I've done before) or a suite if they have any there.

Did you arrive early or late in the day? We're staying at PPH and will be arriving after 8PM. I'm wondering if the time of day matters.

We checked in around 6pm on this past Tuesday.

Getting ready to leave now as our trip has concluded

I took around 1500 photos - so stay tuned for a HUGE trip report in the coming days

Oh - I should probably clarify that we only stayed at DLH for two nights of our 8 night trip... otherwise, 1500 photos for a one day trip would just be MADNESS

I miss the orange decor.

I also miss riding the maliboomer, no matter how many people on this board hate it!
