  • [Chat] The Return of Honey I Shrunk the Audience

I was talking to a fellow CM the other day who works at Captain EO over at WDW and he said minor changes are already starting to take place and the tentative reopening date for Honey I Shrunk the Audience is January 2nd, 2013. I'm wondering if anyone has heard anything similar about the DL attraction. I'm personally hoping DL will make the change along with them!

    I'm right there with ya.
I feel like I'm in the minority on this, but HIStA was one of my favorite attractions. I think EO has run it's course and unless they are going to put something completely new in there, it's time to bring it back.

I really hope not. I felt at the end, that show was so stale that it was growing Penicillin. I really hope for something new. An attraction rather than a movie would be best, but I would settle for a new show.

Ditto. Both EO and HISTC were fine but ran their course. It really is time for something new.

I prefer something new too. Maybe they should bring "America the Beautiful" back

Lets hope for something new, perhaps themed with Up or Incredibles that at least would be relevant to today. HISTK is so overdone and while it's nice to see CEO..I am done with that too..it's old, we had a nice revisit now lets just move forward.

I would prefer EO stay but if it had to go, I would want something new. Definantly not Honey I Shrunk the Audience, blegh.

i really hope nothing superhero themed makes its way into the park. that all seems so very universal, and not disney to me.

who knows, though, it's bound to happen eventually and maybe i'll end up liking it.

Good God I hope not. I don't see this happening though as it would be a step back for Tomorrowland, when they need to be pushing it forward.

At least Wall-E would have something to do with the "future" in "Tomorrow"-land.
