[Question] What to do with ASIMO?

While Innoventions may be the worst thing at Disneyland,
I do think ASIMO is pretty cool. What will become of him?
He fits in with Tomorrowland very well.

Besides having him fight Mr. Lincoln, any suggestions?









P.S. In addition to catching ASIMO, if you have kids they might enjoy the Peter Pan storytelling room on the bottom floor.

I am sure he will fade away with the rest of Innoventions. Along with the Segways and the Xbox 360's or whatever they are still promoting in there.

Honestly Innoventions used to be sort of neat. Finding out your weight in space, the Segway thing was really very cool (and the only time I've ever been on a Segway sadly), and I miss the talking with Stitch as I'm sure that's no longer there anymore. Innoventions would be a lot cooler if, similar to a museum, they would rotate out exhibits every few months. That would at least make it interesting.

Yeah, I don't want to get rid of ASIMO either. I'd like to see him in some way incorporated into DL, perhaps on a ride or at a restaurant in the park.

He'll end up the same way everything in that building ends up. ....an animatronic actor in Splash Mountain. If they can get Asimo to hold a banjo and wear a frog suit then he'll be fine.

Maybe make Asimo a cool droid with a new look to fit in with the Jedi show. It probably wouldn't work since Jedi Training is an exciting show where kids get to fight, while Asimo's show is a careful demonstration in a very controlled setting. I like ASIMO, but it's not a good fit for that Jedi venue, unless it's a light ten-minute show for people who happen to be there between Jedi Training shows. Maybe he could warm up the crowd before the show and dance as people leave.

And maybe when it's not crowded he could walk through the Pizza Port or, when it is crowded, he could entertain people waiting in the long Space Mountain line.

I expect he'll be used by Honda to attract attention at auto shows.

How about having him visit different science museums and not making his show one of those %&#[email protected]* separate admissions.

Honda could also have him visit grade schools. That would be cool!
