    Re: Disneyland Songs

Hi there! I LOVE the music that goes along with Space Mountain. I even bought the Disneyland CD last time I was there (sadly, March of 2010) I hope to see Disneyland again next year though :--)

The Hawaiian War Chant from the Tiki Room Show. It has stuck with me since the very first time I saw the show as a young boy.

I would be a bad Pirate if I didn't say 'Yo Ho, a Pirates life for Me" though.
"...It's dead wore out I be...a might too fast these light footed wenches be, for the likes of an old swagbellied pirate such as I..."

      "*click-click-click-click-click-click-click.......sploosh!!*"(Sir Didymus)

        Re: Disneyland Songs

My favorite would have to be music from Tomorrowland and the Matterhorn. The music that played on the Peoplemover was cool also or should I say it was groovy? LOL

But wait, the music from America Sings and now the music from Maters Junkyard Jamboree.

The only Disneyland music I don't like are the theme songs from World of Color and Halloween Time. Favorite music is a tie between everything else really.

I like them all so much, I made sure to buy the 6 cd set from Disneyland's 50th. It has so many worthwhile tunes from today (well, ok, 2005) to the early attractions. Hard to pick just one!

              In no particular order:
"It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow"
              Theme to Soarin'
              Tiki Room
              Indy
The final montage from Golden Dreams

I love the Dick Dale version that preceded the current one.
"Greetings, Starfighter! You have been recruited by the Star League to defend the Frontier against Xur and the Ko-Dan Armada."

Since the Tiki Room music isn't original to Disney, I'll bypass that choice. For a trly hilarious take on the Hawaiian War Chant, try doing a YouTube search for Spike Jones' version, it's bound to be over there.

I love all the old 1967 Tomorrowland songs. Miracles From Molecules, The Monorail Song, The People Mover Song (the pseudo Burt Bacharach arrangement being my favorite), all of them.
I also love Yo Ho, You Ho (A Pirates Life For Me), and Grim Grinning Ghosts.

These are also my personal favorites. I also love some of the renditions of classic Disney music as they are played in Club 33, such as Feed the Birds. I hope I get the chance to hear them actually in the club some day, and not just on cd.

My Disneyland favorite is "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow", but my favorite of all the Disney parks is "Golden Dream" from Epcot.

"Yo Ho, Yo Ho a Pirate's Life for Me" Pirates of the Caribbean (of course!)
"Grim Grinning Ghosts" Haunted Mansion (classic!)
"Let the Rain Pour Down" Splash Mountain (my favorite ride!)
"When You Wish Upon A Star" Sleeping Beauty Castle (perfect song going thru castle!)
"Theres a House in Harlem For Sale" Tower of Terror-(reminds me of "The Shinning"!)
