Yup, with the change to Holidays and the Christmas day special taping so close to Halloween, the castle gets the snow treatment before Halloween.

Yes I have picts of the castle with the snow tops when we went at Halloween Time. I guess it makes the transition between Holidays that much faster.

It's normal the castle takes like 2 weeks to put up starts early to make the deadline plus they have to test it, p.s. I saw pics on dateline the lights are strung threw the trees and bushes already and small world is get its light bulbs put in.

                  Re: Already snow?

It's the best snow ever. No mess, no drips, no mud. East coasters are envious of our snow.
I am old. But still love Disneyland.

                    Re: Already snow?

There are a lots of christmas decorations up in the parks right now, and lots of areas being set up to recieve them. It's a big process to decorate the park in a major way and can't just show up over night. They do area by area to progressively get everything up by the start of the Holiday Season.

Only by starting early are they able to get Halloween out so the rest of the Holidays can go in about 10 days.

                      Re: Already snow?

Happens every year which always makes me giggle! Snow on The Castle so early makes me think of snowmen, which makes me thing of skiing, which makes me think of ski lifts, which, in turn, brings me back to Disneyland.
