  • [Pictures] Disneyloon's Photography Adventrues

    Hello all,
Some may already know me well and some maybe just have heard of me. My name is Disneyloon also know as Jonathan and I have been into Photography since early 2000's Recently in 2012 I finally was able to step into the DSLR realm of cameras and begin my journey of taking my photography to a higher level. Currently I am trying to just get my name notice and hopefully get Jalejandro Photography running. I decided to make a thread where I can share my adventures of Disneyland Photography and share it with the great Disney community. Some have seen my older photo threads like Disneyloon's Monochrome shots. I would also like to thank Michael Greening (Ring of fire Hot Sauce) his photography is what got me inspired and to work hard and becoming a better photographer.

Onto the First installment of Disneyloon's Photography Adventures
10/27/12 The great Tarzan Tree house climb
It was your typical Saturday morning where My girlfriend and I decided to take a visit to our favorite park. Of course I was here for photography. First up was some pictures at the Hub and Rivers of America, afterwards I decided to be brave climbing up and down the stairs of Tarzan's Tree house. Well I was surprised to encounter a different vantage point for pictures and of the park. Lastly took a qucik spin on Raditor Racers before calling it a day. Here are the photos from my adventure

Awesome pics. I love your style of photography! :yea:
    Fear of the unknown.

They are afraid of new ideas.

They are loaded with prejudices, not based upon any reality, but based onÖ if something is new, I reject it immediately because itís frightening to me. What they do instead is just stay with the familiar.
You know, to me, the most beautiful things in all the universe, are the most mysterious.

Nice pics.. Composition is good, are you shooting raw? Some could use a bit more exposure or maybe use some fill during pp...keep up with the pics!

Nice style. I would agree with erdons about the exposure. I kinda feel like it was not intentional and your screen may need to be calibrated with proper brightness levels. Its almost as if its your black levels more than your exposure.

Otherwise, post more when you have more to share.

Nice! I particularly like the tilt-shift look to the Mansion shot.

I tend to shoot a little underexposed, too; I find the colors look better.

I do shoot in raw. On these photos during processing I played with the contrast on curves and played with the levels. I tend to like having colors pop on most of my images. I haven't really mastered post processing and trying to figure out what editing do I need to do. Next Adventure I will make sure to post some of the photos with no editing and then a copy that has been edited to get some advice on what I should work on. I am hoping to take some new pictures this Saturday. I shoot with a Nikon D5100 and on my camera strap I have a mickey flickr button and shutter bug button if you notice me feel free to say hi.

                    Re: Disneyloon's Photography Adventrues

For me, what helped me learn about post-processing was looking at a lot of pictures, and playing with mine a lot. Bring up the contrast, see when it looks funny. See how far you can push things, and go back when it looks pushed too far.

And I always keep the original in case I change my mind. Sometimes I process an image, post it, then decide the original was better or that I want to process it differently.
