What attraction is currently in Aladdin's oasis?

The Mystical Seating Area of Adventure Plus and Aladdin meet-n-greet. I would suggest on your next trip go to City Hall and put a word in for the Tahitian Terrace.

See ya walkin' right down the middle of o'l Main Street USA

Whenever I walk by Aladdin's Oasis it is always roped off.
Merrily on our way to nowhere at all.

During the day they will have Aladdin Characters to meet.
It is usually Jasmine, Jasmine and Aladdin, or Aladdin and Genie.
The line to meet a character is usually short, I have often seen Jasmine
standing there all alone with nobody to talk to.

Also, it is a nice quiet out of the way area to sit and eat.

It is used as a shrine to underutilized valuable real estate within the Magic Kingdom. Bow and show some respect.

Didn't they used to hold some kind of a show here a few years ago?

I have a vague mental image of kids sitting on the ground while actors performed on a stage... I could be wrong though.

                      Nope you are not wrong.
For a time they had an Indiana Jones show there as well.

Before that it was a storytime with Aladdin and Jasmine where a kid in the crow will become Jafar and every time someone said the name Jafar Jasmine will scream. It was a cute little show.
