Greetings MiceChat
I finally made it to Carthay Circle for the first time this past Friday. I went with my boy and our Duffy the Disney Bear

My reservation time was 7:50 pm and I arrived there to check in at 7:30. I waited in the very fine lounge. I loved all the old photos of Walt Disney and his wife. It was like stepping back in time looking at those photos.
(my camera battery died just a few pictures in so I was stuck with my cell phone to take pictures so sorry the quality isn't the best, believe me it hurts me more to admit this than it does you having to look at the quality of the pics)
Inside the Lounge:

Duffy waits in the lounge with us....

Does Duffy want a before dinner drink?

Naw...he's hungry
Here's where it got a little bit annoying. I arrived around 20 minutes before my reservation time of 7:50. We were sitting in the lounge and I was walking around and taking in all the great photos on display that I suddenly realized that we had been waiting for a long time. I had to go back up and ask them how much longer because it was almost 15 minutes past my reservation time and I had seen others who walked in after me...get taken up before me but I just thought they had reservations times before mine but there were alot of people. No biggie really just didn't expect that. After another 5 more minutes waiting we were escorted up the stairs, at 8:10, 20 minutes past my reservation time...ah well..
Some photos on the way to the table.

We were sitting at a small table for two but this table was just half a foot away from the next table. We might as well have been sharing our meal with the couple next to us it was that close.

Food pictures!
Bread Basket

I did get the House Biscuits....uh YUM!

Rose Petal Soda: This actually tastes like a Rose if I knew what a Rose tasted like. I would think it tastes almost like it smells. Hard to explain. It also had inside it a sugar coated dried Rose Petal...which actually tasted good to.

I ordered the Rib Raviolis. It was VERY good.

Duffy almost stole my Raviolis!

My boy had the kids Beef Filet with Macaroni Balls. He didn't like the macaroni balls but ate that beef pretty quickly. And that is a good thing because it looked like Duffy was eyeing that beef as he was my ravioli's!

My kid had the Push Pop caramel rasberry ice cream. It just looked like a regular push pop but parfait style..no picture, sorry, my kid devoured it before I could get a picture.
Overall, it was really a nice experience. Our server offered WOC tickets, however, we were done 10 minutes past the start of WOC so we didn't even get to use them. In fact I thought it was bizarre she would offer them after the time to show up had passed. The service was good and the food was really great. It was a small dining area but it was workable. I would eat there again when the budget allows because between myself and my 8 year old the whole thing cost $70.
After dinner we stopped by Carsland. The Christmas decorations are tons of fun

We rode Luigi's Flying Tires....
Duffy liked the Fettuccini Alfredo Tires

Then we stopped by the Animation Building. Duffy wanted to know which character we was most like

Simba!

Then a visit to the tree. It's so nice to see Christmas starting to show up.

Duffy liked the bear

It was a nice evening visit. Carthay was pretty good aside from a few negatives such as the wait time despite arriving before reservation time and the lack of dining space in the dining room. But overall, it was nice. So I've tried it...and I can say that I did.
