  • [Question] Soarin Over California, Rider Switch Pass ?

Has anyone been on Soarin while using the Rider Switch Pass ? Do we get the Pass from the Greeter or will the Greeter give us something to one of the flight crew at one of the gates who will give us a Rider Switch Pass ?

you get it from the greeter at the end of the hallway, before you get told to go to the theater on the left or right.

In September we asked the greeter before we even got in line. He gave us a red card to give to the person at the end of the hallway. That person gave us the switch card. We then used it to give to the other two adults in our party who were watching our 2 and 3 year old and are not tall enough to ride.

          Hope that helps.

soarin' has a 40" height requirement, so if adults want to ride it but have a child with them under that height, somebody will have to wait outside, which is where the swap pass comes in handy.

Wait so you ask for the Rider Switch Pass at the Front of the Ride or Merge Point ? If we ask the Greeter in the Front we get a Red Card ? Then we switch it for a Rider Pass at Merge Point ?

Just explain the situation to the cast member at the front of the attraction and they'll help you out.

You ask the greeter at the front before you enter. They usually ask to see the child(ren).
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.
