Re: Are the Voices of Liberty singing Christmas carols?
If the Voices of Liberty do sing holiday songs, it would be nice if they only sang classic, period songs of the 1700 and 1800s. Still festive, but maintaining the theme of the location.
Re: Are the Voices of Liberty singing Christmas carols?
They will not be doing their regular shows at the Opera House, only the Candlelight performances. If they work it the same way they do in Florida, they will be in modern dress rather than their period costumes.

Thanks for the info. and for your earlier post that there might be carolers at the hotels. Christmas carols in the Grand Californian lobby sound unbeatable.

Haven't seen Voices of Liberty since the holiday season started, but the Dapper Dans and Billy Hill and the "Holiday" Hillbillies are singing Christmas music now.
Re: Are the Voices of Liberty singing Christmas carols?
I was thinking about this just a couple of days ago. If they are already paying the Voices of Liberty for daily performances, why not give the liberty music a hiatus and let them go out and carol, like in the old days? They even had their own float in the parade. Yes, the Dapper Dans are already singing carols, but I miss the Dickens Carolers that used to make their way around Main Street. Glad that BV street has some, but why not let the Liberty folks head out in their Dickens' Outifits and carol? Not exactly the right theming, but that's never stopped Disney before.

I saw them yesterday and there was no Christmas music. They open and close with patriotic numbers and the rest is 19th century folk songs.
