I had a few hours to spare before meeting friends so I decided to do single rider at RSR. It started to sprinkle a bit while waiting in line but it was a good 30 minute wait in the single rider line. I had never done RSR at night and it was a new experience for me. Sorry for the screaming...someone was having fun next to me
Then I walked Radiator Springs a bit.
Lobby at the Cozy Cone Motel
I visited the Mad T Party but that weird slinky thing was dancing and I ran away..that thing is bizarre
I had a fast pass to Tower so I jumped on that and there was an interesting story there. I was put in a car with a bunch of girls from a High School Dance Team of some sort. They were all wearing matching sweaters.
So we get loaded onto the ride and it begins. We go down the first drop then to the first opening of the doors and the ride stops abruptly. We are slowly lowered down and the doors open and Cliff, the Bellhop opens the doors...points to the three girls sitting in the last row, behind me and says " you three, get off" just like that! The whole car turns towards them and they are like "why what did we do."
WELLLL...after they were escorted off the ride, Cliff explains to the rest of us why they were asked off and why the ride was stopped. During the first fall, he says, they were all lifting their legs like over their head. I don't know HOW they could do that but he said "we have cameras and can see what you are all doing. For safety, PLEASE KEEP YOUR FEET ON THE GROUND"
After he explained, the ride started again and the rest of the people in the car were pretty cool about it and pretty cool to Cliff. I thought Cliff handled it pretty well and I used the opportunity to give him a compliment at the Guest Services.
In all my years riding that ride, that has never happened to me....first time for everything!
Anyway, moving on...
Then I went to DTD and took a glimpse at the skating rink. I will be taking the boy there next weekend but it looked like fun, if not to crowded. In fact there weren't many people skating at all.
Last stop was Trader Sams...yum for Hawaiian Burger with bacon...and a few margaritas!
On the way to the car...I noticed these two little guys peeking out from the brush...Disney Kitties! Well their glowing eyes anyway. I couldn't get close enough as they started to run away. One was a Tuxedo (black and white) and the other was a Calico. They looked well fed and happy.
That is all. Thanks for reading!
