You just know Disney is auctioning all the gold 50 mickeys and signage, this fall.Who here plans on bidding on them? And what are you hoping will come up for auction?

Is this really happening, or hypethetical. If it's real, a link maybe?

hmm.... interesting. therewould be a lot of golden stuff that I could get.

I wouldn't mind somthing "golden" that was actully used in the park that is no longer needed after the 50th celebration is over.

Sorry I can't provide a link to the future. If they'll sell chunks of concrete they'll sell anything. They sold all the parking lot signs, when building DCA,ride vehicles etc.Trust me they'll sell some of this stuff.WDW 50th would be the only reason to keep them.

I'm sure we'll all get the email from DisneyAuctions announcing it when/if it happens.

I'd buy some stuff, if the price doesn't get out of hand.

If I could afford it, I would buy the 50th lamp at the teacups

I might get something... if prices aren't outrageous...

I'd also like a lamp, perhaps one of the hidden 50s too!

The golden vehicles, if sold, would probably be overpopular to be able to afford!

I'll buy the hidden 50 medallion on the sea maiden on the front of the Columbia...as long as the ship comes with it.

                    Good morning, son
                    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
                    It was pain
                    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
