Another poll... What is your favorite thing at Disneyland during the holidays...

I chose the parade. I always get emotional when the Toy Soldiers arrive. It is such a big part of my childhood.

i chose the decorations...even though i haven't been to disneyland during the christmas season. but it's the one thing of the options given that seeing pictures and videos of makes me the most excited to go.

Well you missed an option, but it's okay! i love the treats also!! YAYA for christmas at Disneyland!! This time of year at the resort, it doesn't take away from christmas for me, it makes it better and i am so grateful that i get to experience it!

last year was my first time visiting DLR during the holidays and let me tell you, i feel in love!! i am going again this year!!! and hope to make it an yearly event! :thumbup:

I absolutely love those toy soldiers, but since I usually use the parades as a time to hit E tickets I couldn't vote it as my favorite. The lights are my favorite part of Christmas time in general, especially at Disneyland!

But the treats! they are soo cute at this time of year!!

I'm so with you on this - food is pretty much my favorite part of life! Even if it is $5!

For me, it's just walking down Main Street with the tree on one end and a fully lit castle on the other and all the decorations in between.

Yeah, for me it's the way people seem to be a bit happier. I love the way people just seem to be trying a little harder to be in a great mood. And when they're not, I do my best to smile and help their mood.

I normally would select the parade, but it's gotten so tired since opening in 1995. They need to revive the Very Merry Christmas Parade - they could even use the same floats, but bring back the more cheery and upbeat music.

Instead I chose the fireworks. And I don't even care for fireworks. Why? Because they use that great song from WDW's 25th, which IMO was a great time in the history of the Florida property and this way I can re-live it every Christmas.

The decorations. I know much of them are plastic but the effect is a WOW. They are reminders of our home decorations in which we keep and treasure, perhaps even hand them down to the next generation.

I chose outdoor decorations but I mainly mean the trees. I love the lights and how different each tree throughout the resort look. My favorite is the Grand Californian tree.

The Castle, definitely the Castle, all lit up. Last year we got there right before the fireworks. My best friend had never seen it all dolled up for Christmas & we were going to be there for 3 days.

We showed up & as soon as we got past the tree on Main Street & I saw it, I got all choked up. Just so dang pretty with the "frosting" of snowy lights. Of course my friend thought I was a big goof, but she had to agree it was a gorgeous site.
