Made a few more ornaments tonight and am starting to work on a Haunted Mansion Holiday inspired wreath!!

Grinch (I don't think he's actually Disney, but he fits in!)

    Jack 1:

    Jack 2:

I'm thinking about adding more to the Jack ornaments... Haven't decided what, yet.

Finally, my attempt at recreating a skull similar to the ones on the HMH wreaths:

I used salt dough since it's the cheapest, easiest material I could think of. He's getting coat of acrylic paint tomorrow, and hopefully I can find a good deal on a black wreath!

PLUS: My husband got his first deer this year, and he picked up his skull today:

    Perfect for Nightmare Reindeer, yes?!!

Wow, Bongo, that's really neat! I've never heard of vectoring. Thank you for sharing!

While not holiday themed per-say, I do hope to finish an art project for someone. Vector a picture for them before the holidays as a special gift. Let me explain. On DeviantArt, someone did a traditional drawing, scanned it, and posted it on her DeviantArt page. I do vectors, which means I make HD art. Look in my signature, the picture in the middle. That's basically what a vector is. I go over a picture that is blown up to a larger size to make it a bit more HD. Well I saw her drawing and asked if I could vector it for her. She said yes and my work began.

Sure! I'm honestly not going to be enforcing anything really strictly, just didn't want a bunch of advertisements or anything.

We had some downtime in the pharmacy the past few days, so we decided to make it festive with some paper snowflakes! I, of course, started looking for Disney-related patterns. All I found was Star Wars (which is just fine with me!):

I decided to free hand my own Mickey pattern and came up with this one:

And my tech is obsessed with Tinkerbell, so I had to make one especially for her:

Love it! I would love to put it in a more antique/exotic looking frame!

They're really easy and cheap! I just used a set of ornaments from the dollar store (a pack of 6 was $1), cheap acrylic paint, cheap "puffy" paint, ribbon, and a foam sheet thing. In all, the total cost of materials was around $5 for 6 of them, and I have leftovers of everything but the ornaments... so for another $1 I could get at least another 6, probably more!

Please post a picture of them if you decide to give it a try! And thank you! I think they're rather cute, too.

Pleeeease post a picture!! I LOVE Nightmare, especially Zero. I'm dying to make a Zero out of a tablecloth or napkin... I can't sew, but I think I could come up with something.

I'm horrible at cutting, so you get major kudos from me!

started a topic [Fun] Disney-inspired Holiday Crafts

    Disney-inspired Holiday Crafts

    Hello, all!

I was just curious if anyone had some Disney-inspired holiday crafts they would like to share?

I finished up a few of these Minnie-inspired ornaments today:

As you can see, the glue hadn't dried yet. I was just so excited how they turned out! Plus I have no patience.

I would love to see any other crafts or hear any ideas any of you have!
