    I've been on both!

If Buzz is a D ticket, then Men In Black Alien Attack is an E ticket!

Men in Black is FULL of special effects, a sound design that is funny and lots of "scares". Theming is not that of a typical Fantasyland dark ride but more immersive. Vehicles spin wildly at great force. (You are not permitted to bring in anything that can't fit in your pockets. There are free lockers available.) Very dark parts with alien surprises. Sometimes water shoots/mists at you. It does allow you to earn points, but you also get the reactions to things you shoot, not just the points.

Buzz is more child friendly and cartoonish, and much tamer.

Everyone seems to be enjoying the buzz ride... I look forward to seeing more pictures of everyone riding it.........

It reminds me of the Men in Black ride at Universal Studios Orlando... has anyone been on both to either confirm or deny my theory??

Yes. Buzz is basically an elaborate dark ride, but it is the first interactive ride in the park and I think that factor is worthy of consideration. You become a part of your own experience. You can turn your car 360 degress at your whim. (OK...you can do that with a teacup too.) You can challenge yourself to improve your performance over multiple rides. I didn't really mean to start a controversy by referring to it as an E-Ticket. It is, however, a really, really fun ride!

It seems like there is a fine line between C D and E Ticket Attractions. I mean how much better is the monorail compared to Peter Pan? I guess it is ranged on how much you spend on an attraction.

I rode Buzz on Friday and one partial Animatronic in the queue and blacklight painted plywood for sets in a ride vehicle that stays level the whole time and only goes through a few rooms does not an E-Ticket make. It's a fine C-ticket though. Keep in mind that all the fantasyland dark rides were C-tickets.

I'll have to admit that I thought about D-Ticket before I wrote my post but then I thought about the (85 cent) E-Ticket that I have framed on my bookshelf that includes: Submarine Voyage, Monorail, IASW, Matterhorn Bobleds, Pack Mules, Mine Train thru Nature's Wonderland, Country Bear Jamboree, POTC, HM, Jungle Cruise, Enchanted Tiki Room.....

I guess we have evolved the E-Ticket concept to mean thrills, but I stick with my original assessment.

    Just got back from Disneyland...

Just got back two days at Disneyland. Got to go on Buzz Lightyear twice. What a fun attraction! It's a challenge to rack up the points, but this is definately an E-ticket. Also got into the Tiki Room. Not much new there, but it all works...the birds don't clack and it's so nice to see it all fresh, clean and new. The flaming tiki torches outside are a lovely touch. We didn't have a Dole Whip but my girlfriend says they look thicker and creamier. She did have a turkey leg over by IASW. (Mixed review here) Rode IASW for the first time in awhile. It's much better than I remember. Same with Storybookland boats. Sometimes it's nice to do the simple stuff to remember the magic. The park is looking very nice after all the rehab. Tomorrow Land is looking better, but there's still a long way to go. The new paint scheme looks so much better than the dreary bronze and purple scheme, but there is so much to paint that TL is a mix of both right now. Had a lot of fun on our first MA quest. It really makes you observe details and visit areas of the park you may be inclined to pass by. Disneyland is so dense with detail. We've been home literally less than an hour and I'm ready to go back!
