  • [Question] New Musculoskeletal Robot -- Too Much for a new Disney Animatronic?

This new robot (designed in Japan) looks incredible (and the videos on YouTube show a very human-like movement). I immediately thought about an application of this technology in a Disney attraction.

Most Disney animatronics are fully-clothed, but this musculoskeletal armature looks awesome au naturale. I am thinking about using them in a Tomorrowland attraction (replacing Innoventions?) where a non-costumed animatronic would not look out of place. What do the armchair imagineers think?

      It could replace ASIMO.

This would be so cool if they decked one out in lights and put him in the new Test Track.

It does look like a possible next gen AA... but it's a bit hard to tell without seeing the movement in a video.

I was thinking Iron Man animatronic too when I took a look at it
There is no right or wrong in this debate. It is simply a matter of perspective.
