  • [Question] Is Shrunken Ned a Member of the S.E.A.?

S.E.A. = The Society of Adventurers and Explorers, the fictional Disney organization that some of the characters in various attractions belong too...Basically Harrison Hightower III from The Tower of Terror in DisneySeas, and Lord Henry Mystic from Mystic Manor in Hong Kong Disneyland.

I thought I'd heard somewhere that Ned was also a Member but now I can't find anything about it. Am i Crazy? Also, was the old Adventurers Club part of the S.E.A.? The reason I'm curious is because they are building an Adventurers Club in Mystic Point and I wanna know if they are connected.

What about Merriweather Pleasure, was HE a Member?

    Thanks!

Hightower and Mystic are the only known members. Ned was created I believe before TDS was built so he was not affiliated. The same can be said for the Adventurer's Club and Pleasure their stories were created long before the S.E.A was put into TDS's Tower of Terror. Yeah however they'll most likely connect them the place to the S.E.A. when Mystic Point opens. Good question!

Isn't this an overseas Disney thing? I don't think anything at Disneyland is part of this.

Yeah, but I don't see why it couldn't be part of our parks to.

Mystic Manor is the first and only addition to S.E.A. that is outside of DisneySEA itself

If they were going to do that, they should include Indiana Jones.

The Society of Explorers and Adventurers is an ancestor of Merriweather Adam Pleasure's Adventurers Club who's most infamous member is Harrison Hightower III. This can be substantiated by what Pamelia Perkins sent to Dreamy Ka'imi (The only Club member that gave Hathaway Browne a run for his money with the ladies) who has his section of Aunties Beach House in Aulani. Hanging in the Beach House is a copy of the Imagineer's portrait that hangs behind Fingers Zambezi in the Adventurers Club,

but in the note sent by Pamelia, she explains that it is the less than savory S.E.A. group "The Pillagers Brigade" headed by Harrison Hightower III and was the team that recovered the Shiriki Utundu Idol that eventually killed him.

As for Shrunken Ned, personally I would say he is a member of The Adventurers Club, but rest assured, I have top men looking into him...

But the Club still stands and hope remains!

Colonel Nedley Lostmore is a Doctor of Jungle Medicine, but neither an adventurer nor explorer. He doesn't have the stomach for it.

Wow, so i guess this is Yes.....at least retro-actively, and just the Adventurers Club (For now). It makes sense, really, since Joe Rhodes was so instrumental in both The TDS Tower of Terror, and Aulani that he would, naturally, fold the two together. Also, it seems silly to have two Exploration/Adventure Societies, both from Disney, and yet they have nothing to do with each other.

And then there's the little matter of an "official" S.E.A. Adventurers Club going into Mystic Point. Is Trader Sam's officially attached to the Adventurers Club?

Also, "Dreamy Ka'imi", HA! That made me laugh

                  Thanks!

I'm pretty sure Captain Nemo is supposedly a member of the SEA. I'm not sure about Indiana Jones but it would sure make sense.
