Yes it did. I believe they were installed when Jack Sparrow was put in.

Whoa... it did used to have Fastpass. Had this never come up, I would have gone through life never thinking about that again. Yeah, I'm glad they wised up and took it off of Pirates. High capacity rides like that don't need it. And I may have just sparked a never-ending debate on whether or not the parks need it at all..

yeah this was the time when disney tried fastpass on almost every attraction :P did not work very well for pirates. if i remember correctly when you enter the entrance under the bridge you could get fastpasses on the right hand side.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how long stand-by times were for Pirates when it had Fast Passes?

Not quite, buddy. They were probably installed during that first phase when the park got them. The last time I went to Disneyland around that time was in 1999, so they were installed after that summer. The machines were still there when I went in 2004 (first time in 5 years) though I don't remember if they were still being used. They were removed in 2004 or the first half of 2005 since they were gone by the time we came back in 2005 for the 50th Anniversary. The distribution was through the left arch.

Yes you are correct, on the fastpass that is in the picture the date is December 19, 2000
