  • [Pictures] Disneyland Hotel: More Rare & Old Pictures

I am pretty sure these have never been published or displayed before.....could be wrong. These come from large posters which originally hung on the walls of the lobbies at the Original Disneyland Hotel. To get these scanned was very expensive then to edit, resize and crop them was very time consuming. I would date these around 1957....hope you like them.

First photo is from the original five room section of the very first guest units opened in October of 1955.

At the risk of sounding unintentionally sarcastic, has anyone here ever said no?

Did the same architect design the Anaheim Plaza Hotel on Harbor and Disney way?

The room buildings are very similar in style.

I doubt it. Original architects for the Disneyland Hotel (and at the time of these photos) was the firm of Pereira & Luckman and they disolved their partnership in 1958.
